Kids Who Lie About How Good They Are

The other day I was at school and I overheard this kid talking about all these tricks he can do on skis and how he could easily get sponsered. Then I bumped into him at the park and asked if he wanted to film with us and it turned out he couldnt even do a 180 or even a rail despite the fact that he said he could cork 5! Do you know any1 like this? And how annoying do you find these people?

I'm shit in the park. I'm quite happy having my ass handed to me by some 12 year old. Least I aint gonna hurt myself showing my punk ass off. 

But slaying switch on an indoor slope, getting asked by some little kid if I'm a pro? Hilarious! Course I am. Lying is great fun.

I know I'm not very good. I try to have more fun than anyone else and focus on having a unique style. I can't spin onto rails or spin anymore than a 7. It doesn't matter how good you are. When I skied with the inspired crew during the inspired demo tour I talked with their filmer and photographer ( I can't remember his name.) He was filming people even if they weren't very good. I was truly inspired to just have fun and not worry about doing doubles or doing the next biggest trick.

just do what the fuck you want. if you want to rock xxxxl jiberish and saga and straight air every jump god damnit go do it. hell, i can't spin more than a 3 on jumps but i rock jiberish and baggy shit, but i can prove myself on rails to some extent.

see the thing is, we were all at some point that kid who looked way too steezy for the tricks he could do, and we were all that kid who was stoked on their first frontside 270 out who went around bragging afterwards. then you grow up, learn more tricks and get better, and looking back i could care less. kids are stoked on skiing, share the love, and if they're actually being annoying about it, just ignore it.

Actually there are a LOT of really gnarly riders from the east coast, big name pros and a bunch of ams as well, east coast is way underrated

Its great to do it to mess with gapers and shit, but when someone you regularly ski with talks about his "butter 630 off" all the time and then proceeds to fail at doing a 270 in mini park, not chill.
