Don't ever lose an expensive smartphones. There is no easy answer to replacing it off contract for less than a rimjob and a wad of cash unless you spend all that money on insuring your families phones. For 6 years I've never forgotten to put my phone in a zip pocket when I get on my bike. It only takes one time forgetting for you to be completely boned.
