Skiing No Brakes=Steeze?

Well at the start of this year while jibbing some back yard in November, my buddy decided to snap off the brakes of his surface double times. His reasoning is that it is more "badass", "steezy", "thug" and "gangsta". One time this year in the park an attempt at a cork 1080 in the park went array, and his ski proceeded to hit a 50 footer and almost land on a family with small children.

So is he more "Thug" for skiing with no brakes?

Thoughts?

Yeah I don't really know about that, he is known for 1 hit ko's. Yeah I agree though.

I know everyone has already said this, but if you actually ski without breaks you are stupid.
I broke off a brake one night and kept skiing, then I ate shot and lost that ski. It hauled ass through the park, and flew off the lip of a rail before stopping in the trees. Luckily the park was almost empty, and no one got hit.

I lost a ski this season when I landed switch too front seat, the brake snapped off and my ski went flying down the hill insanely fast and luckily turned sideways and rolled over until it stopped, right before the bank of snow that would have made a perfect jump for it. If it hadn't stopped there it would have it a family with few kids and smashed into the chalet window. I would probably have been broke if I had to pay those damages. And from a couple of experiences with brakes snapping I would never ride without them. Your friend is so stupid for not wearing brakes after his skis almost hit some people. I almost died when I thought I was about to it almost hit that family!

I almost got impaled by a rogue ski in the park this year. It was going so fast and shot out in the air two feet away from me when I was hiking a rail. It came even closer to a friend who was behind me, it was mad scary. I let the kid know what I thought of course.. Idiot.
