Looking for a good cheap park setup. I am pretty good can 720, cork 5, kfed. Like light skis and being able to get nice grabs. Any suggestions for park skis, bindings and boots and or have anything for sale
I hope your trolling because this setup is terrible. Surface skis have terrible durability, from personal experience and other reviews. Also from personal experience marker squires break easily, why not just buy the griffons or jesters? and Spk boots are shit compared to full tilts. They are much heavier and less comfortable
Ski- Just get whatever you can find that is in your price range. Look for skis that are on sale from last year. Last years skis will be priced to sell, and you can get a much better ski from last year, (that is probably the exact same as the current model,) rather than buy the current year's pricepoint ski.You can also buy skis used from someone who didn't ride them hard.
Bindings- Find some older FKS series bindings, like 120's, 155's, or 185's. (Hit up racers for em, they like those bindings as much as we do.) These bindings are bomber, cheap, and have great release characteristics.
Boots- This is the most important part of your set-up, and its nearly impossible to have fun in a boot that doesn't fit, so I would recommend not cheaping out on boots. Spend some time and find what really fits your foot. Doesn't have to be a freestyle specific boot.
this.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH BUYING USED. Your new shit will look just as bad after 2 days shredding, so go cheap and buy used.
same with boots, go to a fitter and get fitted then try and find the same boots used on the b/s/t forums.
Whats with surface skis? Like some people say there good some people say they suck. And i dont really film sorry and the season is over here in ontario:(
I would greatly discourage you from the marker squires. They are the least durable binding I have ever come across. On my second pair this season and after one weekend, they are starting to decline.
I would not go super cheep on boots
You could probably find a pair if k2s /rossis for cheep on a end of season sale
And the Rossi Axial 2 is a decent binding and you could probably find a pair for cheep in a end of season sale
I picked up some Rossi Scratch's for pretty cheap from my local shop just a week ago. If you want cheap, order online, but hurry because everywhere's selling out. Go to a shop and have your feet fitted for boots that will tailor to your demands and your size and foot shape and everything. Bindings are bindings. FKS 180s are fucking bomber, Marker Griffons are less fucking bomber but at the end of the day, they keep you in your skis. Get whichever ones fit your price range. I suggest buying a helmet in store with everything you'd wear with it in order to ensure maximum steeze.
