thanks man.

does anyone find the intro to be too much visually? or was it alright? i love to go wild in final cut on some weird transitions and overlays- lots of people aren't down haha.

no glide cam at all, hand held and then an awful mini photo tripod

I thought it was pretty well done. Kind of set the "feel" of the edit up, and then you closed it off nicely at the end with a couple similar shots. Captured the way that vancouver/whistler feel in the winter, black and white, foggy, snowy, not much colour around.

There was one cut (1:10 I think) where you were yelling or something and it got cut off, just felt a little sloppy audio wise. Could have been better with a volume fade at the end of the clip, or without the audio at all.
I also felt like it got a bit old hearing you yelling "weeoooo", same thing with the skate edit haha.

That was sick though, nice work man.

nice work max! definitely enjoyed that.


while not all of the shots were technically 'perfect' (couldn't see the landing on some shots), you still communicated an experience and made me want to ski really badly, which is the goal of all ski edits I guess. You also did a good job incorporating the audio into it. I wasn't completely feeling the song but that's just personal preference. The only other thing I didn't like was the transition around 1:28. you definitely could have just gone with a simple cut

What focal length was 0:26? Damn smooth for handheld on stuff like that. Yeah it may not have been technically perfect, burnout was sure a fun to watch edit.
