Too soon, Canon. Too soon.

That does piss me off though, so, so few changes. Why not wait until they have something substantial to release another. Also, t5i just doesn't quite roll off the tongue as well as (now) previous generations.

They update the rebel line once a year.

Remember, a rebel is technically a consumer camera. They release a new one to sucker in more people to buying/upgrading the latest and greatest tech. And they havent had to change shit because they've been able to pull new buyers in without spending money on a new product (R&D, production, etc).

It disappointing me that Canon doesn't have more integrity than that. Guess they're out to make a profit too, just like any other company.

Honestly, the convenience of that rotating screen is the reason I bought the t3i over the t2i, regardless of how much consumerism shit it is.
