I don't have much in experience in buying park skies cause i just got into park last year and I've been using skies that I bought before I learned to ski park. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what kind of skies are pretty good for under 400?

you might want more ski underfoot than the punx. it is a very narrow ski. the other options are great, as long as you can find them for the right price and I would just say that overall from the listed skis, I would go with the Thalls. softer than the AR7s but more lively and better for all mountain than the K2s (IMO)

had a pair of Thalls a bunch of years ago, not the scarface's but the other white ones. loved them, super soft and fun ski overall, and shaped more all mountain than the AR6 was at the time

Since when was 82 underfoot considered skinny? I realize that it is in the lower 80's, but it wasn't too long ago when 76 was the norm.

well if you don't have the money to cough up right now as the deals start shaping up, and your looking for a ski to get in a few months when winter starts rolling around consider, the surface blanks, or the Bmurder ninthward skis, the ninthwards are bomb proof and even though people hate on em, i see a lot of potential in the movements they have been making.

K2 domain is a pretty good ski to start on. Buttery at either end to make it playful but still stiff enough to provide stability on landings. 90mm underfoot gives you that bit of stability sliding rails and boxes. Symmetrical flex means you don't have to worry about where to mount the bindings just get them center mounted and the ski will ski the same forward and back. I find them very playful on piste too and very durable. Bought mine a couple years ago and they are still in pretty good condition even though I mostly only use them for urban now.
