120,000 if I stay above a 3.0. Also my rich grandparents set up a college fund. I was lucky that I didn't have to consider cost when I was looking at schools but UVM is expensive as fuck.

No I did a visit in the fall. UVM has been my top choice, competing closely with colorado college, but I got wait listed there and got a merit scholarship at UVM so it was really a no brainer.

Does anyone know what the real girl situation is at UVM? I heard that there are close to 0 hot girls and that they are mostly counter culture hippie granola type girls. I am pretty sure that is an exaggeration but confirmation would be nice haha

Got accepted, don't think I'll go though, been a Vermont native since birth, I just don't think I wanna spend another 4 years here, that being said if you everyone else should still go, Burlington is such an amazing fucking city, the vibe at UVM is awesome, kinda like a little Boulder with less frat types.

And to the guy who was asking about the girls, there certainly isn't just a mass of beautiful people every where you look. But burlington has a plethora of girls to fit everyones fancy, if your into the hipster crunchy type there are plenty of sexy ass girls that are like that, if you're into the sorority cum chugging slut type there are plenty of those too.

Burlingtons amazing you're all gonna love it.

Im definitely joining, at least for freshman year.. You have a crew of solid skiers to shred with right off the bat, you never have to worry about transportation on weekdays, and you get to sesh tramps, airbags, water ramps, etc. in the fall. Seems like a good time to me.

Do you know what the price is to join? what the criteria is to get in/stay in? just curious. Also, what are the perks versus the normal ski and snowboarding club?

Its like 500 or something which I think covers your stowe pass, transportation, entry fees, discounts at the ski rack, and access to the preseason training stuff. Anyone can join, you just have to compete in one event a year to stay in.

That's not true it's like most colleges you have a lot of hot slutty girls if you go out to party, It really depends who your friends are and who you party with. The hottest girls I've ever hooked up with at UVM ware inside a frat houses I was also hooking up with the girl who was on the dance team there and after every one of the school's dance recitals. the whole dance program would host a party at a house and that was awesome.

Interests: music production, skiing, hiking, just to name a few.

it was 6 hundo this year....everyone makes the team long as you fill out an app. free transportation, comp fees, coaching, proforms, on and off hill training, airbags tramps water ramps etc..we're pretty close so you'll meet some friends you share something in common with right off the bat. we have a good time its totally worth it

You'd have to ask a current member but by the sound of it, once you've paid and as long as you do your one competition it's a pretty laid back, participate when you want to kind of club.

On the topic of environmental: which has more job opportunities? Environmental science, or geology (I'm very interested in both). Also, for each of those majors, which would open up more windows for me after I graduate, a degree from rubenstein or from arts and sciences?

Mostly because i have 0 interest in environmental politics or anything like that haha. Soooo many classes like that, so much stuff that was not relevant to me. NR1 is pretty fun, 103 and 205 were cool / relevant. 2, 6, 104, 206, and 207 made me want to die.

Huh. Well I'm pretty sure I don't want Stowe, from what I hear it's crowded and wouldn't be the best place for progression. The 3some sounds pretty good then... I guess?
