CO, UT ski areas?

Hey guys, not really sure where to put this, so i hope its the right forum! i'm heading on a road trip down to sw colorado within the week, was planning on stopping through utah on the way back, but i was wondering if anyone had input to which ski areas would be the ones to hit. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. So far I know i'm riding Telluride and DMR, and am hoping to get possibly alta or deer valley headed up? just not sure where the goods are! thanks, happy shredding.

I was just back in UT last week and the snow was getting pretty slushy at DVR and PC; not sure if it's snowed since I had to go back to school. Maybe an inch or so but I don't think anything crazy. Anyway, I love Alta no matter what so I'd definitely try to stop there. By far my favorite resort although I ski at PC regularly since it's wayyyy closer to me.

oh believe me i have. but when it comes to towns and people and scenery i have yet to find a better place then telluride. no hate to utah, Alta is the kitties titties, and Brightons got the best jibs iv ever hit in my life. cant say im down with the laws in that state though haha

Utah got about 10 inches today, Silverton got 6 (as of the morning report could be more). 10 inches of crud on great terrain or 6 inches of powder on epic terrain, your choice.

LCC had 24-28" out of that last storm.

Crud as in tracked up powder (because LCC gets tracked out muy rapido) not slush. On the day that I posted those were the snow totals.

You have to be half a retard not to find fresh snow after a storm and days after unless it gets destroyed by the sun.
