Following People on NS

I think that on NS, users should have the ability to "follow" users to better sort content. I say this because usually when I check NS, after watching the latest "Hot" videos, I go to Vimeo, where I've followed almost 250 skiing related channels, some of which rarely post videos on NS. I usually find videos that I prefer on my Vimeo feed, simply because I've followed a select group of channels that I know I like and enjoy watching their media. I believe NS could benefit greatly from this system. On the "Sort By" tab you could put a "Following" option, where you could see all of the videos, photos, news, and threads made by the people you follow. I feel like a lot of quality filmakers have their edits fly under the radar and never make it to the "Hot" page, and this would be a great way to expose their content.
