Joystick These? Durability / 2012 vs 2013

First off, I know there are quite a few other threads on THESE skis.
I had responded in a couple quite a while ago and nothing was turning up, so I am wondering...
How is the durability on these skis?
I need them to last quite a while.
I am 6' 0" tall, and weight about 130 pounds.
I am a Intermediate-Advanced skier and ski about 90% park, 10% groomers.
I want to mount them dead center.

-Will they hold up for a couple season in the midwest?
I hit jumps no bigger than 30 feet and rails
-Is there any difference between the 2012 model and the 2013?
(Besides the color)


Also, I am thinking of these bindings: (Rossi Axial2 120)

would that be good or should I look at something else?

Also, I have never skied on anything wider than an 85mm waist, would I get used to the 92mm waist of these skis?

i got a pair a couple of weeks ago, they're awesome. Super playful and are perfect in the park. My previous skis were Line Chronics from 09 maybe, they were 85 underfoot and i couldn't really tell a big difference when i started riding the Joysticks. So far i have no durability issues besides a few chips on the sidewall, but thats no biggie.

I take that back, my skis right now are 80mm underfoot (narrow i know).
So 12mm difference.. although if you think about it 12 mm is only 1.2 cm which isn't even half an inch.

I've heard zero complaints about their durability, I know they are organismic in the park though

Sooooo much fun. I just had my first day on them and they are super buttery and have a low swing weight. Durability seems to be good, but Ive only had one day on them. I managed to take a small groove out of the base, but thats all.

my friend got a pair at the beginning of this season and after like 2 weekends he already had some topsheet chipping, but it was nothing too serious, so i mean after the first season he likes them and other than that the edges are fine and stuff

ive owned them, yes they are the funnest parc ski i ever rode in my life ! , snapped them after less then 30 days :(

awesome, are they the 2012 or 2013 model? and do you know if they are both the same (no changes from year to year)

I think they are blue/yellow and that's the only difference.

Really? On the site it says the black and white are 2012, and the blue/yellow are 2013.
But if they're identical then I'm going to get the 2012 ones.
