I am starting to look for skis to buy for next year and I want a long ski maybe 186 or 189cm, since I am pretty tall. However I have checked atomic, k2, moment, surface skis and their biggest ski is maybe 181cm. Does anyone know of a good park ski that is in the 180+ cm? Your help is appreciated
I believe K2 shredditor comes in 189. Looked like a fun ski. Also line chronics 185, armada arv 185, armada al dente 188. Theres a few good ones to choose from.
I checked armada's website and the el rey is made into 185... what is the difference between this ski and the ar7? I thought that the difference in price was the fact that the El Rey did not have a woodcore, but it says the contrary on the website...
Thanks for your help
I believe the El Rey is a full cap ski while the AR is sidewall underfoot and cap in the tip and tail.
That should make the AR stiffer and hold an edge better when carving.
It also comes in 102mm waist, i'd say it would be a good one ski quiver. But yeah, for op, most of these skis have rocker, i just dont see why you stricktly want one without. You barely notice the early rise on chronics, but it still helps for floating and butters.
I currently have Salomons 2012s which is basically a rocker park ski with 92 mm underfoot. Whenever I am overshooting a jump I keep washing out even if I am stable on my skis and this is frustrating. So for my next ski, I want something stiff instead of something buttery.
