The worst thing you can do is think about getting hurt constantly.
To progress, the best thing to do is ride with friends. Doesn't matter if they snowboard or ski, stoke is stoke either way. Normally, when I'm doing laps by myself, I'm not progressing. I'm just practicing what I already know and putting down a run that I can consistently land. Like I said, when progressing, the worst thing you can do is keep thinking about injuries. Don't take forever looking at a feature and picturing the worst possible scenario. It will sketch you out and it will be a wasted run.
Commit, then hit it. Trying something new always gives me a huge adrenaline rush.
