So i found a SICK deal on thalls+bindings, are they a good ski for me?

So i found this years thalls with Marker griffons for only 410€ which is pretty cheap here in europe considering the skis normally go for 500€. I am a really good skier on the groomers and can charge really fast. I am a beginner in the park and looking to get first pair of twins, since i have been riding rentals( which wasnt that bad, rental skis er really good in the alps) I can do basic rail skiing and learning 360s now.
I am 15 5'5" and 114 lbs and looking at the 171, since the season just ended for me, I start skiing again in December. Maybe going to saas fee in autumn.
Would this ski be good for me? I like skis to be a playful but stable on the groomers, while not being too stiff. Would the 171 be too long for me? (in December, but ofc i dunno how much im going to grow)

Forgot to mention, i ride about 40% groomers, 50% park and 10% pow

That does sound like a great deal. I ride Thalls in Mammoth, and I charge the park anyday I can. They are great for groomers. And the sizing thing, don't worry about too long, you will get used to them. I'm 6'2 and I ride the 181. Longer is better trust me.

since you're only 15 you're probably gonna hit another growth spurt. Get the 171's they'll be perfect size for you!

171 is perfect length but i really dont know much about the thalls so i wont be any help on that part other than saying it is a great deal

DEFINITELY don't center mount if half of your skiing will be outside of the park and you're buying non-symmetrical skis. When it comes to mounting, kids on NS.com really don't know what they're talking about, since they've always ridden center-mounted skis and are just parroting each others' advice to center mount. They don't know how much nicer it is to carve when the ski is mounted a bit further back and that 2 cm won't ruin their precious rail balance.

Go ~2 cm back from true center. They will carve a lot better, pow skiing will be easier and they still won't feel unbalanced in the park. Armada skis have (or at least used to) three mounting lines: true center, 2.5 back and 5 back. I think that for all-mountain use the middle line is the best mounting position. I'm pretty sure Tanner doesn't even center mount his. Hell, I even have my 100% park skis mounted 2 cm behind true center and they feel awesome.

TL;DR: if half of your skiing isn't in the park, then I really think you shouldn't center mount your skis.

well for me I have one ski mounted at -5 and one center mounted. I honestly don't tell that much of a difference between them on the groomers, carving feels about the same. But the -5s are WAY better in pow and the center mounts are WAY more balanced in the park so

I ride Ar7 (pretty much Thalls except stiffer). I go 50-50 park/ allmnt. I put them at -2.5 and they slay everthing under 5inches of fresh.
If you like railing groomers as much hitting park put at -2.5 behind center and you will love it.

Of course they are. -5 vs -2 is a huge difference though.
