Just snapped my last ski (Line Mastermind) and I'm looking for a new pair. Right now these are my top three, if anyone has a suggestion or a review that would be excellent. Thanks!

Just out of interest why are you not wanting to get another pair of masterminds? Is it because you managed to snap them? Because you can do that with any ski. Are you looking for a ski which is as park orientated as the mastermind? Also what is your preference on flex, symmetry, construction (ie cap, sidewall, cap-wall) and base material (extruded, sintered)?

no idea about the volkls but had some suspects and the edges ripped out in less than 2 months on snow, and i wasn't doing huge disasters either. I have chronics now and am loving them, go with chronics.

You make a good point, because the Masterminds are definitely a nice ski, but I'm thinking chronics for the added width, both underfoot and in the tips/tails. My hill has a lot of ungroomed stuff and a wider ski would float a little better. I'm no expert construction-wise but really liked the flex pattern of the masterminds and would want that again on a little bigger ski. Also, they come in 185 which would be nice because I'm like 6' 3

if ur not skiing park as much as all mountain, get volkls. better all around ski, more rocker, better in powder and lighter. I also prefer volkl durablility over line, but the chronic is an exception for sure

I've never skiied the volkl ledge so don't know about it. The chronic and suspect are two pretty different skis. If you mostly ride rails with the occasional time spent on the jup line then go for the chronics as they will be a lot more durable. If you mainly like the bigger jumps and a nice stable ski then go for the suspects as they are stiffer and have a lower swing weight. Obviously you can hit jumps and rails on both skis but chronics are designed as a durable jib ski whereas the suspects are a lot stiffer and designed for stability in jumps and in the pipe.
