Teaching English Abroad?

I'm currently in Spain teaching English, it's a program with the Spanish ministry of education. I can give you the link to the applications but you have to have a degree in Spanish to qualify.

As far as the experience, it's been nothing short of awesome.

Last summer (and again this summer) I stayed in the rainforest between Costa Rica and Panama and taught english to the indigenous population with a group of students from my school. No experience with the program you mentioned but if you have the chance to teach english abroad I strongly recommend it. Best thing I've done in a long time

Me and my gf have talked about it a bunch, not that we want to but in the UAE you can make close to 60k a year with great perks. Sorta tough to turn down if you don't have much else going on. I'm looking for Spanish speaking countries so Ivan learn more spanish. Found a great place in chili might have been Argentina a few weeks ago that looks awesome

FWIW my brother's in Turkey right now teaching English. He got the job through AISEC and he works at a community college. From what I've heard the whole operation is kind of janky. For instance the guy who runs the place will announce to him that he's got a student arriving the next day from Libya or something and my bro will have to put together a lesson plan overnight. So I guess what I'm saying is it's good to know exactly what you're getting in to and really look in to the organization you're joining. Good luck, I hope you find something.
