Also dub cork 14s have to be the stupidest looking trick ever, Gus is the only one who can do it without full aerials steeze. It's sick, especially in the backcountry but just looks ugly every time
Y'all are on some weird-ass crack if you think this is a 14...Count the rotations please. Flat 360, to Flat 450, to straight 270 out. Pause after each flip, and tell me that is not how it happens. Because I am 99% sure that is how the trick would be split apart.
i think you guys not seeing the 14 are missing the 3rd 360 in there. a dub flat 7 is essentially a double offaxis backflip (it isn't really but for the sake of this discussion and how most people throw them we'll call it that). he clearly does a single flat 3 into a flat 5 (really more of a 630 but for the sake of simplicity we'll call it a 5). then does a straight up 540 out of the second flat spin.
watch some dub flat 7s, 9s and 10s then come back.
I am so confused as to where this 14 is coming from. Fuck counting flips, I'm going to straight basics now: I see the tips of his skis facing forward 3 times.
he opens from his second flip early to spin so i could see how it looks like a 10. but notice how he's backwards as he ends the second flip? that is a double flat 9 (he then does a 540..) similar to how tim durtschi did his over pyramid. i remember people trying to say his was a double rodeo 5 because of how he rotated during his flip making it look like he's only rotating 540 degrees.
theres definitely not a discrepancy over which shot because that one kid posted a video of the flatspin shot and OP would have figured it out. I'm calling troll or OP is literally the dumbest personal alive
You guys its a 14. Its really hard to see but its there im going to make a slo mo version counting the rotations correctly. Its a flat 3 into a flat 10. I think you guys might be forgetting to count the flip as part of the rotation
when he comes around at what you think is 7 he is really at 10 there is a 360 kind of hidden between the flips that goes unnoticed unless you are REALLY looking for it.
find a video of a double flat 7. and compare it to what you are calling a dub flat 7 in sammy's video.
you wont find one because you can't actually spin during a dub flat 7 or single flat 3.
go to the second part of the rotation from where he enters the second flip to slightly before where i paused it and he's still off axis a bit but backwards in the air. if he were to remain in a ball and widen his stance and there was a theoretical step up landing there, that would be called a flat maybe even bio 5. if you take the trick from the beginning to my hypothetical step up landing there, in most you your guys' minds would that be a double flat 9? or a double flat 5 or some shit that you guys are alluding to? dub flat 5s are impossible yo.
dude, it doesnt matter what his EXACT position is, he still ONLY DOES A FUCKING 720. You keep adding another 360 and its not there dude. how fucking blazed are you?
