I haven't ridden a slalom ski in a few years now. I usually stick to wakeboarding. I want to try it again this summer though. My dad has been doing it for like 50 years and rips and it always looks fun haha.
some prick stole my snowboard in like December so I've been ready for summer since then. bring on the skating, shorts, driving with the windows open, swimming in the dirty river, etc.
I'm honestly ready for spring. We just got ~17 inches on Wednesday, another unexpected 4-6 last night. Sugarbush has 2 separate mountains, the one park is on closes next weekend due to Nation Forest regulations or something like that. No spring park for us this year! Plus we are supposed to have 40 mph winds today, no real point in going to the mountain if the lifts are all gonna be closed.
we just got 14in at cannon and there is more expected. I hope it lasts a really long time, but I also want to do tucks which has to high avy danger right now
haha this. anyone who shits on "the other sport" is 12 years old or pants on head retarded.
tahoe, you realize that a decent amount of active NSers are in fact snowboarders correct?
Yesterday was sick, Tabor mountain has some really good rails this year and they still have a ton of snow. I hope winter lasts for at least another month over there...
the walk to class is basically walking through a really muddy river thats rushing against you, and at the bottom of the hill its humongous puddle thats a lot like this but bigger:
Just got the last pow week of the year... Probably. But chairs will spin until June until the snow melts still. Winter weather is pretty much over for the most part now I think.
Spent a few hours today out skating comfortably in a t-shirt, with the forecast calling fot it to only get warmer. I gave my mountain about another 2 weeks until they close. I love winter but I can't wait for warm weather again.
