How do you make icons?

I'm sure there is a thread explaining this, but can someone quickly explain to me how to make a 50x50 pixel 8k icon? I know how to upload it but I just don't know how to make an icon that will fit. Do you use photo shop and crop the picture/video or what? Thanks. +++k for any help you can give me.

They do not tell you how to make icons in the icon help thread, they just tell you what size they need to be and how to upload them.

easy way = open photoshop, new image (size 50x50), drag your wanted icon in there, sice it till it fits in the 50x50frame, save as jpg, upload that bitch

I downloaded photo shop, made a new image 50 pixels wide and 50 pixels tall and no higher quality than 8k. I dragged a photo in and moved it to fit the frame. Then I went to upload it to newschoolers and it wouldn't show as my icon. I tried several times. Is there a step I missed?

Just use Microsoft Paint then. Click resize, and then change it to 50x50 pixels it's not that hard man
