Replying to Booster straps on Dalbello Il Moro's

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the past years booster straps that would click in with the snowboard clip. Did they strip if after getting too tight? Are they replaceable if they do?

My reason for asking is that I found last years Il moro's for a very good price. Since I don't buy boots every year like some people I am hoping that the strap would not be a problem. I am currently on the krypton so I am familiar with the boot and the fit. My main concern is the booster strap with the clip.
