Booster straps on Dalbello Il Moro's

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the past years booster straps that would click in with the snowboard clip. Did they strip if after getting too tight? Are they replaceable if they do?
My reason for asking is that I found last years Il moro's for a very good price. Since I don't buy boots every year like some people I am hoping that the strap would not be a problem. I am currently on the krypton so I am familiar with the boot and the fit. My main concern is the booster strap with the clip.
Thank You
(if this makes no sense with my grammar skills, I apologize. My reason is that I went to a very shitty public school and Community College in Florida.)

its not a booster strap like on a snowboard. Its a power strap that is made to be able to buckle down, and since it is metal and literally just like a regular buckle, I dont think it will break.

I've been on the same pair of Il Moros since 2007 and the ratcheting strap on mine still works just fine.

parkplayground is correct, the term you meant is power strap. Booster Strap is actually a company that produces after market elastic based power straps. And in the case of the Il Moro it's really more of a ratchet strap/buckle.
Anywho, as for the durability I was not impressed when I had some a few years back. I always crank down my buckles pretty tight so as to avoid and play between my leg and the boot and I had issues with not being able to get the ratchet tight enough and with it stripping. Once it got to a certain point, I would go to crank it down another notch and it would just slip back taking a chunk out of the teeth on the strap itself. They are replaceable and it's not very difficult to do, essentially one screw if I remember correctly, though I never liked how I couldn't get the boots as tight as I wanted. It's a good idea in theory, just not very well built by Dalbello.
