Why Can't Skiers have Nice Things? (Libtech's Near Canada Open)

What I don't understand is why Sunday River is hosting these big events like this and the Dumont Cup and Video Games Series, yet they DO NOT give a shit about their parks in comparison to years past. For example: Opening day this year all they had was a 6 foot flat box. Rocking Chair WAS NOT OPEN until February. Jib park has not been changed in months and continues to house small features that get stale, the jib park is 3/4th boxes now. (I remember 2-3 years ago jib park was changed up every other weekend and they'd set up like 3 or 4 dildos in it, none this year.) Rocking Chair has some impressive jumps but they've got a box, and then a box rail and the empire rail before the jumps, that's it.

Now I know SR is a lot better than most mountains but judging by this and the Dumont Cup, Sunday River is down to house a lot of terrain park events, yet THEY DO NOT GIVE A SHIT about their parks, only the events. It seems as long as they have a park in when theres no event, it's good enough, yet they'll jump right on to building courses like this. I dunno if that makes sense but it does to me and most people who ski at SR.

I would totally poach this if I didn't suck at pipe (and park in general)

I thought the general consensus here was that the tanner hall invitational was supposed to be something like this? Or did they finally release some info about it?

THI is a hip jam session followed by a qp jam session.

Damn, I was really hoping it would be a skier's version of Danny's Pipe dream. That still sounds pretty sick considering who is invited to THI though
