What Rims Should I Get?

Looking into summer tires and I have to get some rims with the tires.
What should i get?
Color? Style?
My price max is around $120 a piece

For $120 a piece you're not going to get a very high quality wheel...keep saving and buy some decent wheels later.

Go lurk around on VWVortex so you can first gain a better taste in wheels and cars since just by this thread, I can tell your a rota type of guy.

...and the are wheels. not rims.

i like the bbs RC's on my mk4. Like Ar6rider said, SAVE. DONT buy reps, they will ride like shit, bend, handle poorly, and warp. My brother got the same wheels with brand new toyo proxes 4 tires for 800 bucks. Look around for used 5x100 wheels on VWVORTEX.com, go to the euroshops around your area, and be patient. BBS, Borbet, Miro, Rotiform, Rota, and audi wheels.

If you really wanna stay under 500$, look for some audi wheels, or volkswagen monte carlos or detroits. Those are the wheels that came on certain GTI/Jettas. You cant go wrong with a stock wheel.

i just got my xxr521's in hyper silver today there great knockoff rims. They cost me 700 for all four and i still need tires, the price is pretty good.

honestly, for that price the only quality wheels you're going to get into is if you buy some used oem vw/audi wheels (craigslist or wherever).



with that being said... don't be one of those guys.. if you want to get wheels, please think about doing suspension (even just some lowering springs) first. don't be a 4x4.

Get coils first and then go on vwvortex classifieds and find a used set that are still nice. If you want something high quality though like bbs, rotiform, oz, 3sdm, enkei, ssr or work you've gotta pay to play. If I had a mk4 I would get rotiform LHRs
