Car speakers

So I'm considering dropping a chunk of money on some speakers for my car, but have no idea where to start. The entire system is complete shit as it is. I'm just wondering where I should try to buy, Should I just take to dealer? They are for an 01 outback.

Don't do it, nothing screams I'm a douch like bass out the ass in a 12 year old car. Save your money for car maintaince when it's needed

Maybe he wants to listen out of speakers that aren't fizzling and awful? Speakers =/= loud

Speakers in my Subaru were completely shot too. Could easily replace them with something that sounds great for 250 max. There's no pt in dropping a 'chunk of change' on a car with shitty acoustics and no sound insulation if that makes any sence

Nothing screams I'm a douche like too much bass driving around town, in your 12 year old car. Nothing is wrong with going down the highway cruising with loud music.


If you're doing it, do it right. Don't cheap out, get something that will sound good. Take it to a proper place, and get it installed unless you know what you're doing. If you're not looking for something that bumps, it shouldn't even cost all that much for a nice sounding system.
