I can't believe you're even asking
MSP: PTex sidewalls/maple core/rockwell edges/2 year warranty/proven durability
SCRATCH BC: foam core(don't tell me there's wood in THC, I've seen it)/1 year warranty(if they last that long)/made by Rossi

hahaha classic, another case of popular belief. THC DOES have wood inside. Elastomer-microcell-wood. MSP have been quoted (like almost every rider owned company) as too soft for a real skier. The flex might be stiff (limiting it to bumps) but torsion-wise, scratch BC's will hold up as well as any other ski, or even better. go check out ski reviews in magasines

My friend works in the Clearfield, Utah, Rossignol US Warranty Center. I've been there. I've seen a Scratch sawed in half, and there is NO WOOD. Just because your rep. or the company (especially Rossi) tells you it's wood, doesn't mean it is. In fact, most 'technological advancements' from the big companies are usaully crap. Remember K2's electronic piezo chip? It's all smoke and mirrors. Don't believe the hype and figure it out for yourself-the MSP kicks the BC's ass in quality.
Also, magazine reviews are partial to who's giving the most advertising dollars, so I highly doubt 4FRNT can compete with Rossi there. Reviews are all shit, demo them if you're unsure.

i have 4frnts, and my buddy has bc. ive tried bth skis and let me tell you either choice you go with doesnt matter.
4frnts are a bit stiffer in teh tail, but the nose flex for teh both are quite similar.
Eitehr was, tehy are both rediculously good skis

wow a two year warantee big fucking deal! unless they're warrantying edge tear out from rails, a two year warranty means nothing! oh yeah, read the fine print and i'll bet the warantee is very limited because the company probably can't afford to warranty every ski coming into their shop!

It really doesn't matter which one skis better. Its all about the GRAFIX.

To pipe monkey,
4FRNT has had less than 1% warranty come back. What does that tell you? That the ski holds up.
They are flexible with their warranty, and if it is not covered, they will repair the ski in question.
Go buy some foam Rossi's and keep breking them.

for me it was msp's, bc's, or arv's, and the 4frnt's were cheaper than the other two. plus that warranty helps a lot too, and now a year later i think they would have been the best decision regardless of price

proctor jones was selling last years 4's for some really cheap price. They don't have them on the website anymore but you could call them up, also you could try calling 4frnt or emailing them and asking if they have any of last years skis and like for cheap.
