I love spiders. It is so interesting and cool how different species have so many different adaptions for catching/killing prey.

i dont really mind them. theyre kinda gross to look at i guess, especially with eggs. but there are a ton at my family cottage so i grew up with spiders everywhere in the summers. i once walked through a bunch of webs and felt multiple spiders crawling across my face/eyes and i once woke up with spider bites all around my pubic region (no fucking joke it was itchy as hell) so now i always pull the covers back really fast to see if theres anyone chillin in my sheets when i get there.

so spiders only really creep me out near my face, balls and bed.

I like spiders because if there were no spiders, there would be a loooot more flies and mosquitos. Same with bats, those guys are the tits.

Well, I'd never let a spider crawl on me. And I'd never let a bat touch me because it might bite, but generally I don't get freaked out around creepy crawlies. I think its wrong to mindlessly kill spiders and bats, there just doing there job to help make your life better.

I've killed one bat. Motherfucker hit me in the face while I was sleeping at my friends cabin. Biggest mistake of that bat's young life.

I've seen many bats and this one was smaller than most so I assumed. He was trying to get back at me because I locked him in another room before we went to bed. How he got out of that room and into my locked room I don't know. I can only assume that it was becasause he was actually Dracula himself.

my old house used to be infested with bats. either my schnauzer would catch them...somehow...i never understood this because he was a slightly chubby miniature. but otherwise i would take a big blanket and shew them out the front door.

Butterfly nets and tennis rackets were made for one thing, catching bats. Been doing it my whole life. That and birds that fly down the chimney, fucking idiots.

there was this hugeee spider in my room the othernight, normaly lilly lil paws kills them and eats them but not this guy.  this king spider was almost as big as a cd from leg to leg.  so i lasered the fuck out of it. hahahah. next time i find one that big ill make a video of it being lased to death.

I like the idea of them - the fact that they dedicate their lives to killing flies and mosquitoes and shit is awesome and noble (I fucking hate flying insects etc.) They are nasty and ugly yes, but their purpose and intentions are good so I don't hate them

Fucking hate spiders in my house! They are those horrendous brown and black ones that like to wander around on my walls and ceilings. Now is the time they like to come out.

The other day I left a basket of clean laundry near my heater and didnt put it away for 2 days. 4 fucking spiders hanging out in my tshirts when I went to put stuff away.

I also need to check my shoes and ski boots before every wear. I have no been bitten on my toes twice over the last 3 years, one of which got super gnarly and nearly cost me my toe.


I do like the fact that they eat other bugs though... that's cool.

dude that is ghetto as fuck. when i'm in... thailand or something i check my shoes.. but never.. ever ever otherwise. Spiders just casually around the house? I only find them inside if i forget to close a door or a window for a certain amount of time.

Pretty standard in Mammoth if you live on a ground floor.

I do however think the problem was perpetuated when former roommate of mine left the house for 2 or 3 weeks (I was gone for a month) with the front door wide open.

A mouse problem also came from this. Caught 14... all of which entered through the front door. Shit's fucked.

I need a pet lizard that I can just let wander around my house a few hours a day and eat them.

My senior year of highschool a bunch of people went to my friends cabin after school was out. After the first night I was the first to wake up in the morning got out of my bed to see that my friend who was sleeping on a futon was covered with hundreds of dead centipedes (not this kind but like actual centipedes). Was probably one of the more disgusting things ive seen. When he woke up he threw up but I don't know if it was because of the booze or the bugs. Always wondered if he accidentally ate any of them...
