So many different skis, don't know which one to get? 4FRNT Click, Atomic Punx?

I need a new ski for next year.
I ski 90% park, 10% rest of the mountain.
I am 6' tall, and weight 130 lbs.
I like my skis pretty soft, but also very durable and be able to hold an edge well.
I have been skiing for about 7 years and am pretty confident on any part of the mountain.

Which one do you think would be a good fit?
I like my skis mounted dead center, but the Click is not symmetrical, so could I still mount them center?

I've have heard nothing but good things about the Punx, but I just feel like it would not be good for anywhere but the park, and it wouldn't be durable.. although I really have no clue so if somebody could fill me in.

Also, I was planning on mounting with these bindings, as I won't have the money for FKS/Pivots, and I heard these are the next best thing:http://www.backcountry.com/rossignol-axial2-120-ski-binding

i just got the danollies. havnt skiied them yet but havnt heard any bad things about them, great durability and the flex feels real good

Both are really good skis here is the breakdown though

Clicks are entry level park skis for people who are starting to dable in the park while still doing some groomers and all mountain.

It is not a symtrical ski however, if you get it mounted at recommended it won't be an issue at all. I don't think its that far back from core center.


Punxs are a great park ski. They were designed and created for that type of skiing if you plan on sticking to the park the punx won't let you down.


For bindings, I choose not to get Marker due to the fact that they break and wear out very easily due to all the plastic construction. Get FKS or Look or Tyrollia (which covers head, deadbolt, and liberty bindings), all of those brands are really solid.

Mounting position I would either recommend core center, or true weight center (the balance point when you put your bindings on your skis.)

awesome, thanks everyone. I will probably go with the punx, considering I am in the park 100% of the time, unless i am out west, which isn't very often..

and for the bindings, i can't afford (might just splurge) fks/pivots, so i am probably going to go with rossi Axial2s 120s

Get the tyrollia peak binding, I have had them for 3 years, 65 dollars, I have hit them and scraped them up so bad but they are still the best binding I have owned, 2 to 10 din

yeah, but i ride on an 8 din right now and I am planning on growing more (hopefully), so I want to be able to have the bindings for a long time

yes, but you should try not to have your din set to within 2 of your bindings max. so for example if you have a 12 din binding, you should try not to have it within 2 of the max (12).
if you ever want to lower your din from there, the spring in the binding has been cinched down for so long that it doesnt have its "spring"
