Both fit my foot very well and I have orthodics and just bought a pair of FTs to see how the liner forms. I would be getting the Il moros with intuition, so there is no need to buy both boots to try out the liner
il moros hands down, more durable buckles, basically the same flex, t hall rides 'em, boot carrier straps on the back, park trekker buckle , help me out NS i know there are more
I prefer Dalbellos because the buckles hold up better and they dont seem as chinsy as full tilts, but theyre very similar if not the same in design, both 3 piece boots.
Ehhhh they are certainly not the same design. I tried on my old dalbellos and current FT's today for the hell of it and there is a pretty significant difference in the flex. Both have their positives and negatives.
Contrary to what was said, Dalbello and Full Tilt are about as close to the same design without overlapping as it gets. They are both three piece boots, but the Dalbello only puts the cable design on the top buckle, right above the shin. Which is really only where it needs to be, to minimize shin bang. I tried on a pair of Dalbello Rampages, and a pair of Full Tilt Drop Kicks, and while I liked the Dalbello's, they were a little to tight/snug for me. I like having a good fit, but with a little extra room in the toebox to wiggle around. Full Tilt's are a big easier to customize and repair though, being the are so simple. Both are a super quality boot, but Dalbello has been around longer, that should help answer your question.
I like the Dalbello much better, but it's all about the fit! If the fit isn't an issue, the Dalbello is better. The buckles are more durable, but most importantly the middle buckle does a better job of securing your heel because the angle of the cable goes right on top of the middle of the curvature of the lower and upper foot. It's hard to explain, but if you look at both boots, the Dalbello secures your foot better due to this.
the question was in the title and I just wanted to know some negatives/positives from each boot from people who have had experience with them, preferably both boots
Its a really vague question. I have Il Moro Ts and they fit like a dream. I also jumped on the FT bandwagon a few years ago. I had both the zebra hotdoggers and the blue/white booters. neither of the FT worked for me. I sized down after my hotdoggers were too big and the booters were definitely the right size, i just didnt like the fit. I used a 6 flex and they just felt cheap.
you need to ask for something specific. Dalbello or Fulltilt is not a good question. And even worse you dont specify which FT model.
Comeback when you have an actual question that needs to be answered
i tried both of them on and couldnt feel much of a difference, even in weight, and since I cant ski with them on without owning them or working a deal out, HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THEM? dont be a dumbass
dalbello has a way better fitting toe box. Its more anatomically shaped instead of a square toe full tilts have. Also the pivot point on dalbello is lower and brought further back. The buckles are also just better made on dalbello boots. Those imo are the biggest difference.
