I know. That stuff gets me all the time. The biggest thing I miss.
You could just go to somebodies how and ask if your friend was there. That was normal. Now it's all cell phone communication. I'm glad I got to enjoy a cellphone free childhood.
Yeah me too. Like I'm obviously glad I have an iPhone now and can do whatever I want with it, but it's nice that we still got to be part of that era. When I was 16 I got my first cell phone and everything changed
Have you seen that Seinfeld episode where the entire story is them not being able to find each other at the movie theatre, Haha that's ridiculous
that was the best. riding your bike for a mile to check if your friend was home because it was too much of a hassle to call their house phone. now, you can just pick up your phone and check facebook and twitter to see where they're at at any given moment.
Yeah. Even in high school I had a cell phone but didn't use it much.
We didn't really text back then. Would go out and walk this bike trail in town and it'd be me and a friend, we walk to another friends house and then start walkin down the trail the 3 of us. Run into another group of friends and then keep building shit like that.
You could just walk around unscheduled and do what you want without being found if you didn't want to be. It's hard to go back because you're used to life as it is now, but back then that was just the way it was.
