Need new effects ideas for edits +k for help

Hi everyone,
It is come time to start working on my end of season edit, and I really want to make this one amazing. I am using Sony Vegas Pro 11 and i like it very much. If any one has any special effect ideas that you really enjoy to see in edits, I would greatly appreciate it if you could post it below.

There is some sick stuff you can do in After Effects if you have it. Motion tracking titles, lighting effects, etc. For sony vegas, the only thing I could do when I had it, was create intros. There's a ton of tutorials on youtube.

Maybe try downloading some overlay footage and use that
