I'm looking for a symmetrical park ski thats durable, playful, and soft with a lot of pop. Anyone ride either of these and wanna chime in? Oh and I'm 6ft 170 if that helps....

What's the flex like on the diams? I want something super playful and buttery but still responsive and poppy. And how are rails on em? Sorry for all the questions I just can't seem to find these to demo....

I always hear mixed things about them. Care to expand on what's wrong with them?

they're just unfun damp old man skis.
sorry for my brash explanations, I just honestly can't support them. In the shop I work at we always just say when you buy icelantics all you're buying is the artwork haha.

I've heard that a bit. I've also heard the da'nollie are soft but responsive. I'm pretty much leaning towards those right now but a friend has apostles and RMU's quality is just so great I want to hear more about how the diams ride

the diams are super lively. durability is as good if not better than icelantic. RMU definitely knows what they're doing.

pretty damn soft. definitely more of a rail oriented ski although my buddy jeremy who rides for em has no problem with dubs on em off jumps. haha

I really appreciate all the help so k+! But yea it seems like the diam would be what I'm looking for. I also like that they're a good bit wider than the da'nollies.... I'm trying to find a place to demo them.

I have ridden the da nollies and a very similar ski to the diam from RMU called the wisco.
Both companies make super sick and are extremely durable. I prefered RMU because I found their skis more playful and responsive. However Icelantic has a better durability. I own a pair of RMU's right now and I gotta say these things absolutely slay, my only complaint is that the topsheets chip pretty easy, which icelantic doesnt. But other than that I would say RMU takes the cake for me

The wisco is their rockered park ski right? Can you say a little more about it? I ride halos right now and I would love a symmetrical version of those with a little more pop and flex...

Such a fucking fun ski. They charge when I want them to charge and butter when I want them to butter. They have virtually no swing weight and can rip either long gs turns or short tight radius turns forward and switch. The rocker and girth on them help them float in pow but the narrower tips and 5 dimensions help them carve hardpack. They slide rails like a dream and have a good amount of camber to stomp big landings off jumps. Their construction is pretty bombproof, they have withstood everything from 30' cliffs to dfdfd rails and show no signs of being beat besides a little topsheet chippage. I STRONGLY reccomend them to anybody who can get there hands on a pair, they are pretty hard to come by. RMU needs to make more of these skis.

Yup and I believe the dimensions are 114-121-102-121-114 or something very close to that
All times are Eastern (-5)
