Today i lost the screw in by bindings tail piece. I had lost one before so now i have only one screw holding the tail piece attached to the ski. I tried screwing it back before, but it kept coming out pretty quickly. So what should i do? I was thinking of getting a new screw and putting it in with some glue. Will that work? And how safe is it to ride with one screw in the tail piece (the piece only moves up and down slightly, so i guess i'll be okay for a couple of days)
I'd probably take them to a shop to get the screw holes heli-coiled or inserted asap, and would definatley not ski on them. If you keep skiing on them with only one screw holding the heelpiece to the ski then you're probably going to rip the heelpiece and that other screw right out of the ski; which will just cause more problems and ruin a good day.
Still sketchy and I wouldn't recommend it, but if you really really really have to do that, then go to a hobby store and get some G-Flex two part epoxy. This might cause problems if you ever do try to get them heli-coiled, if the hole is all loaded with epoxy.
