I've ridden both thalls and halos, I'd say that the T-Halls are more buttery. The Halo's have rocker which helps with initiating butters but actually feel stiffer when in the butter and try and pop you out of it more than the T-Hall. I hope that makes some sense, it's quite a hard feeling to describe.
In general I do prefer rockered skis but the Halos don't feel like a traditional rocker ski, they have a lot of camber and then a sharp transition to rocker, but there isn't really that much rocker. They don't feel loose like most rockered skis do.
