Me and my friend have been arguing over which skis are better for a 13 year old kid and about 113 lbs. were not hitting anything crazy but were still going pretty big? What is your opinion?

I'm going to say that a 13 year old kid should cheap out on skis so their parents don't get pissed when they see that both choices are over $500 flat.
