How questionable is a third mount?

So, is the difference between 2 and 3 mounts negligible?

Ex. 186 BG, 1st mount for large Dukes w/ inserts, 2nd mount for Griffons. Both on the line. Want a 3rd mount for FKS 155s, willing to move above the line. Absurdity? Malarky? Stupidity?

I dunno if it's different between pow skis and park skis, but my brother was riding a pair of thrice mounted AR7's with FKS bindings up until a week ago, and he had no problems. He just ended up feeling like he should replace them. I honestly think you would be good to go.

Also, my brother is a pretty aggressive skier, I don't mean to internet claim for him, but he was at the Aspen Open this year.

What BSL's, large duke's have a long mount pattern so the heel shouldnt be an issue, griffons will be more. Most shops are gonna want you to go +1/-1 of other mountds depending on the hole patterns get a clean re-mount, but ON3P's are bomber and can definitely take it.

The hole pattern on fks is a lot different than the royal family. You'll be alright if you take the safest mount location and drill a few cm away from other holes.

314 for first two mounts, I am planning to mount with a 301 if I do purchase. The only thing that is stopping me from buying is this question

if you're wondering about integrity of the ski, 3 mounts is usually the max. So the third mount would be fine/

pretty sure you would be fine with a third mount, after that the ski gets to weak

1.5cm you should be fine with a third mount and probably close to the line depending on the holes.

My Praxis Powboards havr 4 and a half mounts on em, I was dropping cliffs today.

Go for it ya just gotta have 1cm between each hole

Mount the FKS about 15mm forward so that the rear toe holes sit in the middle of the Griffon's toe holes and it'll work out fine.

I'd just put Jester Pros back in the Griffon holes if I was you though.

I took the MFD plates off my Caylors and remounted with Dynafit Radicals and FKS140 patterns using inserts. Some holes are close (less than 1 cm apart) but the mount seems pretty solid so far and I've ridden the ski with both bindings.

I mounted my line skogens(old skis i know but they tear it up) 3 times and they are perfect, just know where to mount them and you will have no problem.
