Replying to Taos/Santa Fe

So a friend and I decided to go ski Taos for two days (tomorrow and Thursday). We're car camping it in Santa Fe tonight. Neither of us know jack shit about Santa Fe or Taos. I was wondering if any NSers had any insight on the area (regarding things that are not skiing. eg nightlife).

Just keep in mind

a) We are both 18
b) Pretty poor / frugal

Any advice or direction would be very appreciated.


(Before anyone makes the ill-sighted statement "Post in regionals", there are no regionals for New Mexico and the West/Centeral hardly receive any traffic.)
