i'm getting really sick of all of you mothafuckas talking about style... nobody gave a shit till pros started talking about it... plus most of the kids who talk like style is important have wack steez.

every profile i read i see under favorite and best tricks: i like stylish tricks.

what the fuck is this shit? i am sick of it. so keep your mouths shut about it till you really prove that you can hang in the steez category.

wow life jacket you have it all figured out. First off doing a switch flair to front is impressive but honestly it is lame. I can't do it but I will never try it either.

As for the direction our sport is going. That direction being stylish tricks. Who in there right mind would argue with that, first off it is safer. Yes safer, you have kids focusing on every part of the trick which is vital. Unknown to most people the in run and skiing away from the landing ARE part of your trick. They will watch it closer and focus more on making their corked 7's look nicer then trying to get it up to a corked 1440 tripple grab.

Thats what I'm going to say, you can or don't have to agree with it. It is where the industry is headed eitherway.

All I have to say about this thread is 'wow'. What's with all the people on this site talking like thugs from the street and using words like 'nigga' for no good reason (not that there is a good reason to use that word). Let's face it guys, the VAST majority of us are middle to upper class white kids trying to fit into the culture of a sport that we deem cool. So the trend right now is to wear baggy pants and pretend like you're from the streets. That's no reason to talk like an idiot and make yourself look stupid to the general public. I'm not writing this to any one particular person and I know that there are people that do ski that are from the streets but c'mon people, you're sitting in front of your computer - you can't be that ghetto.

pros are pros because they are good at skiing as well as marketing themselves... there are many people who are at the pro level or even better than many pros who just havent had a break yet.

yes i am still learning... and so are pros.. and so are all of you... it wouldnt be fun if we werent.

man, every post i've read here is so hippocritical....everyone writes shit about someone, then does exactly what they say in their post....and in my mind, lifejacket had it backwards...the more we focus on style the more we move away from aerials...the only style they worry about is not moving anything and stomping the landing...if we do less in the air, but look better doing it, it's the opposite of aerials

Fuck to all those motherfocker who are sponsoring skiers without letting them express thewmselves on skis !!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are artist so we do what we like and making it look like we want it to look so stop judging other and just enjoy watching them skiing.
