The kid came in, he was maybe 13-14 and about 5' tall. He asked to try the SPK on in a 26, I told him sure but take a seat first and I would look at his feet and measure him up. He measured out as a 23, so I told him the 26 would be way to big.
I went to have a look if I had a 23 but the smallest I had was 24. I shell checked that on him and he had so much room in the shell it wasnt even worth trying. I recommended he try TMC as they may have some FT's in his size as I had nothing that would fit.
He went off and then came back 30 min later. He asked to buy the 26 and I told him that was a stupid idea. I let him try the 24 just to show him it was too big, but of course he told me it was too tight. He kicked up a real fuss, so much so I eventulay just gave in and said I would sell him the 26, but made it very clear there was no fit garentee when it kills him.
The idiot took the 26's against all my advice.
Why the hell would you ignore all the advice given to you. I was happier not making a sale then to sell him a boot even 1 size to big, but he ended up buying a boot 3 sizes too big.
So overall all I wanted to say was, if you come see I highly experienced boot fitter, then please listen. You do not know more then me, so please listen. Im not trying to fuck you over, Im trying to get you in a boot that fits.
And finally Boot size is not related to cock size, if your a 23, get a 23 it does not make your cock any smaller, just makes you a better skier.
