My latest work (biking) Please Critique!

Hi guys! I know all of you would much rather see a skiing edit but I know a lot of you bike as well so hopefully you enjoy this! I would like some critiquing because I know the M&A section generally can give a better opinion then anywhere else I know of. Just let me know what you think!

As far as critique:
Too many butt shots
I'd like to see some more balance between tight and wide shots. Som tight shots would have been great.

Yeah I definitely knew I had a lot of wide shots! I just love shooting wide footage so much! I love making the subject weave through the landscape and such!

Wow that was super tight OP

Somethings I would have liked were maybe a little more diversification in your stabilization. You had a lot of static tripod shots in the beginning and I don't know if you have a video head but a little movement isn't a bad thing. Also would have liked to see more glidecam shots, the ones you had were sick. Like Sklar said Some tight shots would be nice too. Lastly you should try to add a little more b-roll to give the edit more feel and personality and maybe some face shots of the rider. Overall it was awesome!

once you started using the glide cam shots the edit real came to life, but that was a sick edit, id try not to use so many static tripod shots, more actio and tight shots the better, but good work, also maybe a little dark

Wow. Amazing.

-First few shots a bit dark.
-Those wide angle shots were amazing.
-Grading was good, loved that look w/ the fog.
-I really enjoyed how shot movement really only begins at 2:19, and the jumps are set at the songs climax.
-Glidecam work was a little shaky but it suited the shot at 2:23, made matt faster.
-The use of hardly any slomo worked well.
-the last shot was fucking sick.

Are you going to be at the 1st NW Cup? I might film it possibly.

Fog was awesome!

Filming was awesome!

Only critique i have:
The glidecam's were i bit shaky.
The shot at 2:33 had such epic lighting i think that it would of been stronger as a static shot.

that was fucking sick, doing it on that track was a great idea. The only thing i really saw was maybe brighten things up a little bit, and throw a camera on the bike lets see some of what your seeing, some quick shots of that, dont turn it into every other action sport video. Well Done.
