The freeskiing scene will grow more talented, more creative, and more diverse than ever. Future spins and triple/quadruple etc flips will only go so far, and new tricks will emerge that will triple the innovation of Andy Parry, Logan Imlach, and other creative skiers.
That being said, the freeski community has grown over the last several years, and has become closer and closer to becoming mainstream. As the years go on, this issue will only get worse. On the one hand, it's great to see the community grow and flourish, but one of the great things about freeskiing is that it's found its own niche in the sports community. We're made up of a small group of passionate people, yet we go largely unnoticed to the ordinary person. This is the way freeskiing is meant to be, but I fear that as the years go on, the community will grow into a widespread movement with less passion for the sport than we have today.
