AT bindings or touring plate?

On my pow skis I have mounted marker griffons and they are perfect for my din range, weight amd height.,im looking into getting AT bindings but I am also considering a touring plate to lesson the cost. Would it be wise to buy the AT bindings or invest in the touring plate and save some cash.

Issues with purchasing AT bindings:
$$$
Din range will be a littk too high
Lesser range of.pitch compared to plate

Issues with purchasing plate
Less solid construction
weakness of where plate attaches to ski

If you have any i.put that would be helpful, these are just thoughts at the top of my head. So please correct me if im wrong

If the din is too high and you dont want to pay as mich i would get te plates cuz if you get at bindings you have to get the boots too

MFD's are pretty dumb and useless in my opinion.  If a 16 din is too much for you, look at the Marker Baron.  If you want to save some money and keep your current bindings, get BCA Trekkers.  Trekkers work pretty well with a few modification, and you don't have a dumb plate on your ski when you are not touring.

I've got my skis mounted with FKS 155 and MFDs, they ride great downhill, are super durable, and you can land switch on them. Ran out of money to buy skins, but the ascent mode is easy to engage and you don't have to take your skis off to do it which is nice.

I got mine used for 150 bucks, with 120 dollar pivots.

Sell your Griffons and buy Barons, Guardians or Trackers (whichever you can get a deal on).

If you want a lower binding, the Baron isn't your only option. I beleive that for next season Atomic will be doing a 13DIN Tracker.

Word, Ill have to contact onenerdykid about the specs on that. that would be nice due to I would be mounting them on Atomic Blogs.

Yeah but no flat tour mode is a bummer, I hardly ever use my risers.
