Full Tilt Boot Help!!!

Okay, so before you flame me, I know, go to a bootfitter.
So currently I have Tecnica Mega 10's in a size 30.5 and on the shell size is 300 - 310mm.
I have the opportunity to get new FT Dropkicks for pretty cheap. When I was in Utah, i tried on a pair and they were fit nicely. So the fitting isnt the problem. FT says the shell size on 30.5 DropKicks is 335. Does anyone know if that is in Millimeters as well?

yeah the bsl(335) is in mm.

Thanks, so does that mean that I would have to remount my bindings for the FT's?

Yeah I'm not sure, the manual suggests you won't have to remount, but I may just be misunderstanding it.

Ok.  You're reading the size wrong.

If the BSL of your Tecnicas is 300-310(wtf?!), you're not in a 30.5.  You're wearing a 26 or 26.5.

If you buy the 30.5 FTs, and try to wear them, you will:

a) need to remount your bindings.
b) be in a boot four sizes too big.
c) need to buy another pair of boots, not from the Internet.

Okay, i read it wrong, the boots are size 30.5, I wasn't reading the BSL it was some other number. The BSL is 350mm, i think

It should say right on the heel, in mm. If you are going in to a 335 mm bsl boot from a 350 mm bsl boot you are going to have to remount. The suggestion that you got saying that you are not going to have to remount is generally speaking from one boot to another w/in the same wheel size. In this case it seems that technica has used the same bsl for both sizes 30 and 31, which manufacturers do on small and and large sizes of cheaper boots to keep the cost down. Same applies for a lot of Judas boots, some time kids can go an entire size up in boots without even having to adjust forwand pressure.
