I have to write a paper on a phonological phenomenon of my choosing. I'm having difficulty finding a topic that is both interesting and also has yet to be chosen by someone else in my class.
A good example of a phonological phenomenon is the vocal fry. It's a common mannerism many north american girls share, where at the end of each sentence their voice starts groaning out.
