in places like interior New England (espeshaly northern Vermont) had an epic period of skiing in early December, however the mid season wasn't great, places like Mad river glen even had to close down for skiing due to lack of snow. However the powder groves of the east like jay peak and mad river have seen over 40 inches in the past week even more if look farther back. Our season has mayd a comeback, for the powder hounds of the east. The junk mid season reminds me of a doughnut hole, i call it a Doughnut season, anyone else experienced this, seems kinda rare considering the forecast for the first half of march still looks good...
