Well, took neural control of posture last week, got a B and was pissed. Get my cell bio exam back today, if I get below a 90% I'll shit bricks. Aaand I took physics 2 this morning. I failed so hard my head spun. I'm kind of sitting here in shame before I get annihilated.

oh hell yeah! I've taken some courses on that stuff!

I agree that it's confusing. It makes no fucking sense at all. To me it seemed like a math course with no connection to reality.

i didnt read the thread and i dont care what any of you say, im suffering the most right now

i have a 3 hour Kinematics & Dynamics midterm tomorrow, probably the most mind-twisting math i have ever done. im in second year mechanical engineering and this course is making me question my degree, future and the purpose of my life in general.

im fucking deeeeeaaaaaaaaad inside.

haha classical response from an engineer. acts as if the only reason to go to school is to get a job.

especially after complaining about how shitty and tough a junior level mechanics course is.

I like engineers but this is why I make fun of them.

come on i wasnt being serious. that was my vent after a full day of studying so i was a little high strung haha i am very aware of the engineer stereotypes and i like making fun of them

actually the one thing i have learned from doing engineering for sure, is that i dont really want to be an engineer in its most common sense, like a desk job or drafting shit on the computer. i have no idea what im doing after uni but you cant argue that an engineering degree should be helpful

no i'm not arguing that. that's actually why the stereotype exists. It's such a good degree for jobs that a lot of people go into it for the money and not because they particularly like engineering. Then they find it difficult because they aren't actually engaged in the material, and then they complain about it lol.

That being said there are a lot of brilliant engineers out there. In fact in my advanced calculus class which is mostly math and physics majors, they top mark by a margin of about 25% came from an engineer.

I had a split class with engineers once and they actually gave the engineers different assignments and scaled the marks separately. We made fun of them a lot for that one.

hahahaha but for reals you made a good point. No major is a walk in the park unless you have a desire to learn the material. I would probably fail business because its boring to me (that is a little exaggerated).

Agreed. I think if the professor was better at connecting the equations to descriptions of the physical phenomena I would be far less confused. But...such is, I suppose.

I think its just because it tries to integrate the polar perspective of dynamics and thus its all trying to go in between the regular coordinate system and polar movements

I have 3 next week and then its done. Until finals of course. But my term papers aren't getting started either so that won't be fun.
