Replying to A few FKS/Mounting questions. +K
Hey NS! I bought Marker Griffons and broke the brake/plastic off after I released earlier this season. Took them to backcountry.com where I received a new pair and proceeded to ski.
Now today I noticed the toe piece on my right ski has a ton of play in it took it to the shop and they said forward pressure and all that was correct but the pin in the toe piece was loose due to a manufacture defect and that their was nothing he could do. He recommended I return them again and pick something else up.
I'm going to pick up the Rossi FKS but I want to keep them Center mounted (If i can) do you think that will be a problem? I understand I might have to re-drill the holes but does anyone know for sure? Also, in your opinion would if I had to re-drill would I rather go 1cm forward or 1cm back? I ski 90% park 10% all mountain and like to ski switch.
And can anyone confirm that the FKS comes with a riser plate for the toe height? I have Full Tilts with the toe being a little worn. I just don't want to run into problems with the toe height on FKS.
Seriously thanks so much to anyone that reply's +K!
