A few FKS/Mounting questions. +K

Hey NS! I bought Marker Griffons and broke the brake/plastic off after I released earlier this season. Took them to backcountry.com where I received a new pair and proceeded to ski.
Now today I noticed the toe piece on my right ski has a ton of play in it took it to the shop and they said forward pressure and all that was correct but the pin in the toe piece was loose due to a manufacture defect and that their was nothing he could do. He recommended I return them again and pick something else up.
I'm going to pick up the Rossi FKS but I want to keep them Center mounted (If i can) do you think that will be a problem? I understand I might have to re-drill the holes but does anyone know for sure? Also, in your opinion would if I had to re-drill would I rather go 1cm forward or 1cm back? I ski 90% park 10% all mountain and like to ski switch.
And can anyone confirm that the FKS comes with a riser plate for the toe height? I have Full Tilts with the toe being a little worn. I just don't want to run into problems with the toe height on FKS.
Seriously thanks so much to anyone that reply's +K!

Don't be afraid to go as far back as -2.5 if they won't work center. Center mounting when you're not riding 50% switch is kinda weird imo. Mine work fine with worn FTs. Welcome to the club.

If you've already moute with Griffon at center, I highly doubt you'll be able to mount FKS (140?) at center. So you'll have to go +/- 1, I'd personally go -1 as not to go forward of center. I would only forward of center if I was riding 100% park and was riding/landing switch more than 50% of the time.

I don't know exactly how the Griffon and FKS holes match up, but if you want to go as close to center as possible then start moving back in small increments until there's enough clearance between the old holes and new ones. You can get by with a surprisingly small amount.

The holes clash a lot. 10mm forward is the only way to go for the new mount. Just get Jesters if you're not OK with that.
All times are Eastern (-5)
