Do you hit rails more or jumps more? If you do 60% or more rails, and like a shorter ski, 176 will be perfect. If you are more jump oriented, 182 will be much better.
Those would be perfect for you, especially if you are semi new to park, theyre a super light and pretty forgiving ski. Theyre pretty stiff under foot though so landing big jumps isnt sketch.
Think this is a troll, but if not I would go 182. For that height a 174/5 would be the ideal length, so taking into account rocker, etc. I would size up.
Op 182 would be better especially if your gonna ride around the rest of the mountain. If your gonna be in the park all the time and no where else, then maybe consider the 176 but only if your gonna be on rails 24/7. 182 will be way more stable on jumps and rest of the mountain.
Nah I'm 5'9 and not going to grow at all, and I have 182s. If you wanna do more rails go with the 176. There isnt a whole lot of rocker on the aplhas (as opposed to the FR's) so you dont wanna go too long if you aren't to confident.
Also at 145 lbs you would probably be ok with the halo, but that's just my opinion.
personally i would get the 176, armada usually measures true to size and/or a tad long
the elf shoe tech is supposed to give you edge grip of the rocker when put on edge, and the alpha one isn't even *that* rockered in the first place. i would go with the 176
Haha alright my bad, sorry. But yeah that would be my advice to you honestly. I don't think anybody has ever wished for shorter skis, but plenty of people, including myself, have wished for longer skis.
No. Go with what you feel comfortable with. I'm 6' and I ski park with 174's that have rocker. I just like a shorter ski. Still does everything I want it to.
