Back in Nov 2012, I ordered a crew from them during a crazy cheap sale they had. Gave them all my information and completed the sale. Package shipped out 2 days later. Super smooth!
Upon arriving in the US in mid Dec, I noticed the package on the shipping was marked "undeliverable." Turns out, I gave them the right address with the wrong street name. Stupid I know. I recently moved just weeks prior and got the two addresses confused. Unfortunately, USPS ships the package back to sender immediately if it is marked undeliverable. I tried calling every nearby post office and distribution center hoping to catch it before it was returned, but no cigar.
I reached out to FASC that day with the predicament and gave them my story. They responded to me 2 days later without a problem saying they will reship the package upon arriving back at the warehouse. They said they would notify me upon re-shipping. I said perfect and sent them my correct address.
Here's where things get fishy. When I sent them my address, I asked for confirmation that the address would be changed and not shipped to the incorrect address again. No response.
I let it be for a week. I am not a pushy person and I realize it was my error to begin with. Still no response a week later.
I reached out to them several times between Dec-Feb with not a single response asking for confirmation of shipment, current status, or just a reply to know their company is still in fucking business. Still, no reply.
It is now almost March. 3 months since I have heard from FASC and 4 months since the order was placed. Still no crewneck on my doorstep.
I understand international shipping can be sticky. I've done plenty of business with Hong Kong. But this is no excuse for customer service. None what-so-ever. I do realize it was my mistake initially in giving the wrong address, but a simple line of communication would help put my mind at ease or at least know they are working to correct the shipment to ensure the consumer receives their goods.
Since then, I've taken measures to seek out a refund - including emailing FASC. Surprise, no response. No acknowledgement. No nothing.
I have escalated a claim through PayPal and am hoping I'll be able to get my funds back. Unfortunately the claim is over 45 days old, so it may make it difficult or impossible.
I'm only making this thread to warn others to use caution when ordering directly from FASC - maybe they'll see this and it will be a bit of a wake-up call. It sucks when other small business go head over heals to make the customer happy *cough* Surface *cough.* It really puts FASC to shame. My mistake was only 40 bucks, but they have plenty of more expensive shit on their website that could suck a lot more if not received.
