Public Enemy's & bumps

There's been quite a few posts on the PE's already, and I'm pritty new to this forum.

Though being a PE owner, I thought I'd help out none the less.

They are not overly fat as compared to a backcountry ski if thats what you're talking about, though they are wider than a Scratch.

However, with the ABS sidewall construction, they handle as if they are on rails. I was extremely pleased with the handeling charecteristics.

As for bumps, if you mean mogules, than I'd look at something completely different. This is a 60% all mountain ski, so you can ski all the rins with confidence. The other 40% is advertised as being park. This is where you will see the true versility of the skis. They simply do it all. Not to fat, not to skinney, and stiff as it should always be. They give truck loads of pop, and on normal runs at high speeds, they are stable.

I have 179 04-05 PEs. I'm not a huge bump skier by any means but as the guy above stated, these sticks do it all and ask for more. I ski tight trees, bump runs, high speed groomers, tight chutes w/ mine and they eat it up. True, if the only terrain you want to ski is bumps, I would go w/ a skinier ski, but if you want an all mtn true twin tip...PE all the way. The tails are stiff on these things too and you can pop the shit out of them. Hope this helps

I've never had the opportunity to try the pe's but my troublemakers are tons of fun in the bumps. They're not quite as wide as others but still have pretty good width

I agree with martock... They rock everywhere but big icy bumps..

I suppose it all depends on your defination of bump. My little mounds of snow from snowboarders or whatever, you just float right over them.

I havent had a chance to get them in deep stuff so piles of drift I can't speak for.

Or maybe you mean mogules, in which this case, you're talking a whole different ski.

i dont like them in te moguls at all. bu that doesnt matter for me cuz i got some mad trix moguls
